Investment Team

Mr. Alam is a Senior Associate of TBG and is responsible for transaction execution, financial analysis and portfolio company management. Mr. Alam is a member of the Board of Directors for Aero Medical International.

Prior to joining TBG, Mr. Alam was most recently an Associate from 2005 until 2007 at Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. LLC (“BRS”), a NY-based private equity firm with $1.4 billion under management, focusing on investing in middle-market consumer goods and services businesses. While at BRS, Mr. Alam reviewed investment opportunities, conducted industry and company due diligence, actively managed portfolio companies and worked closely with management teams. Prior to joining BRS, Mr. Alam was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Retail/Consumer Group at Credit Suisse First Boston from 2003 until 2005. Mr. Alam began his career in the Strategic Finance group at The Home Depot in 2002.

Mr. Alam received a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction in Finance and Management from Emory University where he was a Bank of America Scholar. Mr. Alam earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
