Aero Medical International Announces New Base in Seattle

Aero Medical International (“Aero Medical” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of The Beekman Group, has announced the establishment of a new base of operations at the Seattle Boeing Field in Washington, US, operating from 1 July to the end of the summer season. The Company said it would open the base with one Learjet 35A aircraft to meet the high demand of air medical transport requests in the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Alaska. Dawn Cerbone, Aero Medical marketing director, explained: “Alaska has been a successful part of vacation destination offerings for some time. Having a base in Seattle, Washington will allow us to extend our market presence into the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Alaska while continuing to offer our clients and vacationers more affordable, efficient options.” Stuart Hayman, CEO of the Company, added: “This is another example of our success with the recapitalization of Aero Jet International and Air Ambulance Professionals.” Seattle Boeing Field becomes Aero Medical’s third base of operations. A base in Florida boasts five Learjet 35As, currently providing services to the western hemisphere; a second in San Juan, Puerto Rico serves the Caribbean Basin with a Cessna 402B. The recent addition of the seventh aircraft in Seattle makes Aero Medical the largest dedicated fixed-wing air ambulance operator in the Americas, according to the Company.
