Mr. Perkins has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in urgent care services, behavioral health, and dental care. Mr. Perkins founded FastMed Urgent Care in 2001, recapitalizing the business in 2010 with the backing of Comvest Group, a Florida private equity firm. After the recapitalization of FastMed, Mr. Perkins directed FastMed’s business development activities including national expansion through the identification of acquisition targets and developing a process to open a new clinic every two weeks, and transitioned out of the company at the end of 2011. Mr. Perkins holds a board seat on the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, Cary Christian School Board, and Young Life Committee, as well as serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Riccobene Associates Family Dental, a portfolio company of The Beekman Group.
